Former Ebusua Dwarfs boss Ricardo da Rocha has been appointed interim Ashantigold manager until the end of the season following the sacking of Romain Folz.
According to latest reports gathered by Kumasi-based Gye Nyame FM indicates that Ashantigold has reappointed their former coach Ricardo da Rocha as interim coach to save the club from their woes.
The Brazilian was sacked prior to the start of the 2019/20 season following a club licencing regulation that a coach can only lead a top-flight in with a CAF Licence A or it’s equivalent.
He has previously worked with Ghanaian top-flight side Ebusua Dwarfs where he helped them to finish fifth position after the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League season.
Rocha is expected to start work this morning at the Ofori stadium as the club resumes training in preparation of their matchweek 25 fixture against Great Olympics.
