Ruthless Abdulai Mukarama Leads Ghana Trio Shortlisted For The 2018 CAF Women’s Footballer Of The Year

Free scoring Black Maidens skipper Abdulai Mukarama has been rewarded with a shortlist for the 2018 CAF Women’s Footballer of the year.

The Northern Ladies centre forward leads Ghanaian trio of Elizabeth Addo and Portia Boakye for the most coveted individual prize in African football under the female category.

Mukarama racked home an alarming 19 goals in her last 8 appearances for the Black Maidens to add to the regular goal scoring prowess in the National Women’s league.

The teen prospect has been honoured by CAF with the nomination and the Ghanaian forward is now set to flex muscles with Assisat Oshoala, Francis Ordega Thembi Kgatlana and other household names in African football.

A strong list of 15 players have been shortlisted for the 2018 CAF Women’s Footballer of the year.
