Identified as Linus Issahaku, the youngster picked up a nasty injury in friendly clash between Catholic Stars FC and Buguya Paala FC and later passed on at the Tamale Teaching Hospital as he was been prepared for operation.
A fatal collision with an opposition player left Linus with foaming mouth in a scary mood that will eventually lead to the demise of the budding talent.
The injured Linus was rushed to the WaleWale Municipal Hospital in the northern region where he was later on referred to the Tamale Teaching Hospital.
The struggling footballer gave up the ghost in the early hours of Saturday February 20, 2021 with reported internal bleeding from the brain.
