Second-tier side, Samartex FC, have denied reports that prospect, Benjamin Yorke has signed pre-contract agreement with Hearts of Oak.
The young forward has drawn interest from several Ghana Premier League sides including, Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko who made several attempts to lure the winger but couldn’t land him before the start of the season.
Recent reports in the local media indicated that, Yorke is set for a move to the Capital after signing a pre-contract agreement with Hearts of Oak.
The club’s spokesman Kwasi Abronomah Katakyie Mensah in an interview with 442gh.com said, the enterprising youngster has signed three years contract extension with the Division one side.
Yorke penned the new deal in April this which will run until 2024.
Abronomah confirmed that the Samreboi based club are not willing to sell the speedster to any GPL side.
Samartex are fighting for promotion into the Ghanaian top-flight as they lies 3rd with 45 points in Zone 2.
