The Hearts of Oak head coach was delighted to see off Inter Allies at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The Phobians pulled a needed reaction following a 1-0 defeat to Ashanti Gold last week.
Hearts earned perfect revenge, beating Inter Allies by a lone goal after losing the reverse fixture by the same scoreline.
“It was a good game and l am happy our team won. The boys got the job done and that’s what matters. Our target was to revenge the first-round game and we did just that.” He said at the post-match
Boadu continued that his team has switched focus to a vital away trip to Karela next week.
“As l said earlier, we are taking it to match after match, we are done with this match and our attention is now on the karela match. We are going back to the drawing board to start work.”
Hearts of Oak now back in contention for the title occupying 3rd position with 33 points, closing in on arch-rivals and league leaders Asante Kotoko who sits two points above.
