Chairman of the National chapters committee of Accra Hearts of Oak Elvis Herman Hesse has insisted Music Icon Charles Nii Armah Mensah, known as Shatta Wale remains a support of his darling club Accra Hearts of Oak, despite declating his movement to Asante Kotoko.
The Africa Dancehall music king took to social media to declare his love for Asante Kotoko with the arrival of his ‘godfather’ Kofi Amoah Abban to the Porcupine Warriors family.
But in the leadership of the Hearts of Oak supporters insist Shatta Wale continues to be a phobian.
“I can tell you for a fact that Shatta Wale remains a Hearts of Oak fan, he is a true and true Hearts fan” Elvis Herman Hesse told Fox Sports in Kumasi.
“Shatta Wale has come to Asante Kotoko on a Condition that his Godfather has been appointed by Kotoko, I know he will return as soon as the godfather is out of the club, he remain one of us” he added.
Fans of both clubs are divided over the announcement which seeks to move all the Shatta movement fans to the red Army.
