Stay at home, help Fight COVID-19- Mahatma Osman Otoo advises Ghanaian.
Former Ghana National team captain Mahatma Osman Otoo is the latest Ghanaian Football star to join the fight against the novel Coronavirus.
The Turkish base Ghanaian striker in a solemn message to fox FM is urging Ghanaians to adhere to the Government’s directive of asking people to stay at home.
The former Accra Hearts of Oak Goal poaching legend who is mourning the demise of his mother said the rising number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Turkey has ensured all citizens observe the Lockdown imposed by the Government and therefore ask Ghanaians to take similar measures.
“I plead with all Ghanaians to adhere to the measures put in place by the Government, its the protocol in every country, and the only way to defeat the virus. I know my fans want me alive, same way I want them to live to enjoy my goals” he told Fox FM’s Rockson Adjei Yeboah.
The former Ghana Premier league top scorer has had a stellar career in Turkey, and is Ghana’s only locally base player to have played in all the National teams from U17 to the Black Stars, captiaining two of them.
