18 out of the 21 Stranded Ghanaian Footballers who issued a passionate appeal to tue Government of Ghana to be rescued have landed dafely at the Ghanaman Soccer centre of excellence to begin a 14 day Mandatory Quarantine.
The Ghanaian players who called for help from Ghana government to evacuate them from Ethiopia arrived here in Ghana safely after making a transit at the Togo international airport in Lome.
They were put on the Togolese National team bus and accompanied by the Togolese football federation top brass to the Ghana side of the border at Aflao to Prampram.
A Collaborative effort from the Ghana Government, the Ghana Football Association, and other stakeholders ensured the stranded Footballers returned to Ghana from their base in ETHIOPIA.
The Players, led by former Black Stars defender Lee Addy issued an SOS call for the Government of Ghana to come to their aid in a social media video that went viral
