Thank You; Ghana FA President Kurt Okraku sends heart warming message to George Afriyie

President of Ghana Football Association Mr. Kurt Okraku has espressed deep appreciation to former Ghana FA vice president George Afriyie for accepting to work on the Division one league advisory committee to restructure the second tier competition.
The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) took the decision to form a 5-member committee for the implementation of the transitional provision on the number of participating clubs in the National Division One League which led to the nomination of George Afriyie from Zone 3 to serve on the board, a decision the Ghana president has lauded
“Together We Build! Thank you for accepting the responsibility to serve on the 5 man DOL advisory committee that has been set up to look at DOL football and all related issues” Mr Okraku wrote on his facebook page.
This 5-member ad-hoc committee would advise the Executive Council on the format, the possible name of the new 18-club Division One League, the phases of the implementation, whether or not a third-tier League will be required and its format.
Though the implementation is after two seasons, the Executive Council wants to start the process in time so that the engagement and consultations will be extensive.
