Many have described loads of lives experiences that ignite the connection in man. Some wander what the exact tool that brings the excitement in man is?
Football is that branch of life, that adds to the beauty of assembling great and small. Football is amazingly, the tool that signifies peace, unity and love in its own unique way. Thus, the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) unique hashtag #BringBackTheLove.
As we journey on our last trip of the 2020/21 football season to Techiman to play King Faisal, we have as a team all the affection we could ever ask for in this journey.
There has been loads of love right from Yamoransa junction, with our famous “Abontoa abontoa” jagon on the lips of many in and around Yamoransa, not forgetting the bright smiles from the hawkers at Asante Bekwai , and the shout of “Ebusua” at the Ahwea Nkonta junction are memories which cannot depart from our minds in awhile, we will surely live to add up to these beautiful memories.
As a team, we have had bad memories too. Memories that occurred prior to our very existence in the Ghana premier league.
We have had bad losses against Medeama at Tarkwa , Kotoko at Obuasi and WAFA at Sogakokpe.
In this year’s League (2020/21), we have had our share of sadness, however as a team we cannot help but acknowledge the beauty in the air. Our share of victory cannot be left out, those epic performances against Accra Great Olympics, which we won by 4-1 at the Cape Coast sports stadium , as well as the 4-1 win against Karela united at the Ndoum sports stadium and, and our recent drawn game against Accra Hearts of Oak.We can not recollect all these victories without forgetting that relieving win over Inter Allies.
The sound of vuvuzelas that met us on the highways, and the waves from policemen at check points are, the defining piece that signifies the “Tool” called unity no matter the teams they belonged .
The players of Ebusua dwarfs have been nothing short of amazing, passionate and determined. Their preparations before games, their ability to rise even after a fall, that amazing spirit of togetherness which they share with the fans of the team on match days, proves Ebusua Dwarfs is not just a team but a family.
It is no surprise the team’s Captain Dennis Nkrumah Korsah’s favorite quote ” THE SUN WILL RISE AND WE SHALL TRY AGAIN”, resonates amongst us and has been our inspiration throughout the season.
Through it all, I would say indeed the league of our roots generate the passion in our football loving fans. However, we have to admit that Football is our way of defining “National Identity” .
The powerful “Tool” we have to, promote National Unity.
From this side we say ,
You are good to say ,
