Prosper Narteh Ogum, head coach of Asante Kotoko has described his side’s performance against Medeam SC over the weekend as “the best” he has seen under his reign.
His comment follows Kotoko’s 1-0 win over the Mauves and Yellows at the Baba Yara Stadium on match week 14 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
Cameroonian striker George Mfegue scored the only goal of the game in the 78th minute to propel the Porcupines to victory, extending their lead at the top the log to six points.
Speaking after the game, Prosper Narteh said he was impressed with his team’s display at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
“I saw the best of my team today,” the coach said.
“I think this is the best performance I have seen, especially in the first half.
“We were dominant and controlled the tempo of the game, we were just on top of the game especially in the first half,” Narteh added.
Asante Kotoko are currently sit top of the summit of the Ghana Premier League with 30 points from 13 games, with a game in hand against Accra Hearts of Oak.
