Asante Kotoko SC have been hit another injury news after just two league matches into the expanded 34-week season.
The Reds lost their skipper to a late injury in what looks like a slight knock at the Berekum Golden City Park.
A scan on the flying goal keeper confirmed a maximum five weeks spell away from the pitch.
The injury woes however took a different turn with news that Razak Abalora, Salifu Mudasiru and Augustine Okrah have all been grounded in the last few days.
Razak Abalora joined Asante Kotoko SC with huge potentials thanks to his days with WAFA SC and in Tanzanian football.
His much anticipated debut has however been extended by either national duty or sickness of a find.
The custodian joins Felix Annan as two of the clubs’ four goalkeepers for the season with only Kwame Baah and Danlad Ibrahim available for selection.
Head coach, Maxwell Kunado will be counting on his utility players to fill in for the vacuum created by his injured stars.
Asante Kotoko SC have so far amassed 2 points from 2 fixtures thanks to a late equalizer from Emmanuel Clottey at the Golden City Park.
