Ghana’s female National team, the Black Queens have taken an unassailable lead in the run up to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic games after they defeated their counterparts from Gabon by 3-0 in the first of two legs.
The Queens, led by former Player, and Referee, Mercy Tagoe led the Gabonese by 1-0 after a Juliet Acheampong goal.
The queens sealed victory with two more goals in the second half by Portia Boakye
and Priscilla Okyere.
The Queen’s will host their Gabonese in the second leg in two weeks time in Accra.
