Total Women’s AFCON 2018: Black Queens skipper Elizabeth Addo named in tournament Best XI

Ghana Black Queens skipper Elizabeth Addo has been named in CAF’s Best XI players for the just ended Total Women’s AFCON tournament held in Ghana.
Addo emerged as the only Ghanaian to have made it into the top seventeen players of the tournament as she grabbed a place in the first eleven.
The Ghana skipper was phenomenal for the Black Queens despite their inability to get to the semi-finals of the competition.
The list which is dominated by Cameroon has 5 players from the Indomitable Lioness with 4 in the starting eleven, followed by South Africa with 5 out of which 3 are in the starting eleven.
Nigeria had 4 players picked for the top 17 but only 2 made it into the Best XI of the tournament.
Mali’s Bassira Toure also made it into the top eleven.
