Former Asante Kotoko defender Stephen Ayiku Tetteh is set to seal a move to Ghana premier league side Aduana Stars.
The 23-year old is reported to have started training with the Dormaa-based club, hoping for a deal.
The former Wassaman United defender joined Asante Kotoko in 2019 on a three-year-deal after returning from Ivory Coast.
He had a fantastic season at Ivorian side USC Bassam which enticed the Reds to invite the centre-back for trials under Norwegian trainer, Kjetil Zacharriasen. Very quickly, he found life at the club to be much tougher than anticipated.
He made his debut appearance in the CAF Champions League game against Kano Pillars in Nigeria and struggled for game time since.
The central defender was later loaned out to Legon Cities on the last day of the first transfer window during the truncated Ghana premier league season after he was deemed surplus by the Porcupines.
Tetteh, since making the move to the capital club failed to land himself a starting role and his loan spell was cut short after just an appearance for the Royals in the league.
However, news reaching Myfabulousonline.com indicate that he has been training with Aduana Stars and will be hoping to earn a contract with the Dormaa-based club should he impress the technical handlers led by Paa Kwesi Fabin before the closure of the ongoing transfer window.
