Tunisian top Football side AS Soliman has appointed Ghanaian player agent Nana Kwarteng Ayepay as their new representative in Ghana for the next two years.
Kwarteng, an experienced player agent with more than a decade in the player transfer business is expected to facilitate the smooth identification of top quality Footballers for the club.
Nana Kwarteng led in the transfer of Liberty Professional’s Elvis Kyei Baffour to the Tunisian outfit.
“My job as a representative is to link Ghanaian clubs to their counterparts in the Gulf states, it should be possible for a Ghanaian club to participate in the Gulf Tour next summer” he told 442gh.
“I realized most of the current player agents deceive players to countries, and leave them stranded, these agents convince Footballers not to extend their contract with clubs, and end up going for free, this must change, and our clubs need to make money. He added.
Nana Kwarteng was involved in the transfers of Seidu Bancy, Kofi Nti Boakye, Nuru Sulley and many other players in the past.
Nana Kwarteng stressed that, he would facilitate to ensure clubs make the best out of the transfers of players to other countries, including exchange programs with other clubs.
“As Ghana rep, I am to ensure that the Tunisian club gets the best players to enhance their squad, and to challenge for the Championship”. He said.
