Leadership of thw National Chapters committee of Accra Hearts of Oak have resolved to talk club’s former top star Joseph Esso and management of the clhb to soften their stance after both parties failed to agree ti a new contractual terms.
In a meeting chaired by 1st vice Chairman of the National Circles Council Hon Saliu Joe last Saturday in Accra, the supporters leaders asked the player to come down on his demands especially his decision to sign for only one more year as they also talk to management of the club to up their bid to secure the services of the player.
“Many of us were taken aback at the news of the release of Joseph Esso so we spoke to management to find out and later met Joseph Esso” the Chapters First vice told Oyerepa FM.
“One thing we realised was that both parties were not ready to come to a compromise, they had taken entrenched positions but we have told the player to come down on his demands of GHc 50,000 for a year, the amount is not that an issue but the duration he wants to sign” he added.
Rhe NCC vice Chairman stressed that their outfit have done rheor bit and only waiting for a reponse from the player to decide on the next step
“We are waiting to hear from the player and then meet management also so we find a way out of this”
The supporters are bent on ensuring the player returns to don rhe Hearts jerseys as a new season unfolds.
Joseph Esso joined Hearts of Oak from Ebusua Dwarfs in 2017, and been instrumental for the club over the period.
