Hearts of Oak striker Victor Aidoo has apologised to the Oak family after missing a penalty that could have won the Phobians three vital points or probably a draw against Ashanti Gold in match week 19.
Aidoo before the miss held a hundred percent record in spot-kicks for Hearts with his power over placement style.
Hearts of Oak during their game against the Miners won a penalty in the first half when Patrick Razak was fouled in the box.
The former Samatex striker this time opted for placement when he stepped up to take it which the goalkeeper went in the right direction.
Eventually, the 19-times champions went on to lose the game after conceding a late penalty goal.
“I don’t know why I changed my style. I will ask all Hearts of Oak family, both management and the technical team, the support as well as fans of Victor Aidoo that they should forgive me and pray for me to help the team.” He told GTV Sports plus
Aidoo has scored 7 goals thus far for Hearts of Oak this season, three of them are penalty goals.
