Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has struck again, ladies and gents, pulling off an insane piece of skill during his debut game for Legon Cities against Medeama at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.
The globally adored Ghanaian striker returned to the Ghana premier league 17 years after leaving the local scene for professional football in 2003.
Gyan left Liberty Professionals for Udinese and has since played for Modena, Rennes, Sunderland, Al Ain, Shanghai SIPG etc and he is back in Ghana haven’t signed for Legon cities at the transfer deadline day.
Gyan who improved on his fitness after joining the Royals few months ago and missed the first two matches of the season came on in the 71st-minute to replace wasteful Rafael Ocloo.
The best part of his debut was when the record-breaking Ghanaian striker nutmegged Justice Blay – leaving the Medema midfielder slightly embarrassed.
