The nimble footed play maker aired his frustration at the absence of the nation’s topflight and the joy driven on weekly basis at match centers.

The former Asorkor Deportivo attacker revealed missing the adoring fans on weekly basis and the joy driven inwardly taken to the pitch as a footballer.

Maxwell Oppong, whose quick feet earned him a maiden invite the Black Stars B, revealed how ready he and his teammates were to redeem the image of Wa All Stars FC after a slow start to their season.

Speaking to www.442gh.com, the dribbling maestro revealed how he missed the local league and the collective effort of his teammates to redeem Wa All Stars FC from the claws of relegation.

“There was a feel at that time that we were on a mission to redeem the image of Wa All Stars FC. To bring the former champions to where they belong but now there is nothing at stake and I personally feel worried”, Maxwell told 442gh.com exclusively.

“The crow, the patronage, the excitement and everything has been missed but we are just hoping for the best at the end everything.

“All the struggles we were going through to turn things around were motivating us but now everything is missed. We were on a mission to send Wa All Stars FC back to where the club belong”, the Wa All Stars FC attacker added.

Known in the soccer fraternity as Messi, Maxwell Oppong is blessed with a cultured left football capable of meandering his way in the mist of crowded opposition.
