Watch Out for Security Beef Up at Our Various Stadia- Hon. Isaac Asiamah Assures Ghanaians

Youth and Sports Minister Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah has assured Ghanaians football loving fanatics of more advanced measures to beef up security at the various Stadia across the country in subsequent games after a gunshot at the Berekum Golden City Park.
Hon. Isaac Asiamah made the revelations after a bloody violence that took place at the Golden City Park in a NC special competition fixture between Berekum Chelsea and Asante Kotoko on Sunday 28th of April, 2019, resulting in a temporal ban on the 2010 league winners.
The bloody incident saw Policy Analyst of Asante Kotoko SC firing a warning shot at the Golden City to deter irate fans resulting in bloodshed and various degrees of injuries.
In a Face Book post by the Sports Minister, he condemned the act and sympathized with those injured while promising to find a requisite solution to the problem and deal with the culprits.
“I condemn the violence that took place at the Berekum Golden City Park during the Special Normalisation Committee match between Berekum Chelsea and guest Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday 28th April. I urge all clubs honouring the competition to eschew vandalism and all acts of lawlessness”.
The laws of the country and the game would be applied to anyone or club that goes contrary without fear or favour.Measures would be put in place to beef up security at the various stadia in subsequent games”, Hon. Isaac Asiamah posted.
