Ashanti God SC Administrative Manager, Daniel Bioh says the club is ready to make regional rivals Asante Kotoko feel at home in Obuasi.
Kotoko recently adopted the Obuasi Len Clay Sports stadium as new home grounds for the last lap of the season as renovations are still ongoing at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Speaking in an interview with Kessben FM, Bioh said, “Looking at our relationship with Kotoko I don’t think we have any bad outstanding relationship.”
He continued that ” We are making efforts to ensure that teams that will use here(Len Clay Stadium) will feel comfortable. When (Asokwa) Deportivo came to Obuasi we gave them a very warm reception. It is not going to change with Kotoko, everything we need to do to ensure their safety and access to the facility and any other activity they will do. So long as we are hosting them we are willing to assist them in any way possible.”
On Wednesday, April 7 the Reds will play their first home game in Obuasi as they host Bechem United in an outstanding fixture.
