Following Asante Kotoko’s heavy defeat to Great Olympics this afternoon, coach Maxwell Konadu has admitted that it was a very difficult game.
Asante Kotoko played as the host to the capital-based club at the Accra Sports Stadium today for a clash in the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
At the end of the match, a strike from Michael Yeboah led to Asante Kotoko’s first defeat.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Asante Kotoko head coach Maxwell Konadu says it was a tough game against the opponent.
“It was a difficult game. We didn’t look good in the first half but we came into the second half and started changing things. We have taken lessons from this and will work on them,” Maxwell said.
Asante Kotoko will now travel to Dawu to face Dreams FC on matchday six of the Ghana Premier League.
