Wolves Defender Willy Boly Switches Allegiance To Ivory Coast

Wolverhampton Wanderers centre-back Willy Boly has officially completed his allegiance from France to Ivory Coast.

The 29-year-old Boly, born in France’s Melun, represented Les Bleus at various youth divisions before eventually deciding to commit his senior international career to Ivory Coast.

“The request of the FIF relating to the change of association of the player Willy Boly is accepted,” Emilio Garcia Silvero of the FIFA Player Status Committee wrote, according to Sport-Ivoire.

“The player, Willy-Arnaud Boly, is authorised to represent the representative teams of the Ivorian Football Federation with immediate effect,” he added.
